I began seeing Andrea for knee pain last year. She was able to help me work through that and become stronger. Not only is she a talented PT, but we had great conversations and I actually looked forward to my appointments! I really understand the importance of keeping my body strong to allow me to compete as a high level and to avoid injuries. So, once my PT was complete, I began working out in small groups with Jenelle. I have a great time with Jenelle, she makes me laugh but work hard. She is just amazing. She has helped me to become stronger and to pay more attention to my movements to avoid injury. Because I travel for softball, I have missed some classes, but always look forward to going back to working out with Jenelle.
My physical therapist, Andrea at DNA Physical Therapy & Athletics was a life saver when I slipped a disc in my low back last year. She works with me one on one for a full hour and doesn’t pass me off to an “assistant” like other places I have tried. I then started Jenelle’s small group training class and it’s perfect! It’s better than any core class I have ever done because it is a max of only 6 people and she is correcting us during the class. This class feels like it was made for people like me with back issues…my back never hurts in class and I could barely move 6 months ago. Thank you!!!

My daughter, a 15 year old two sport club athlete, has been going to DNA since their opening. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We appreciate the fact that they are all athletes themselves, so they can relate to her experiences and they understand the different motions and muscles that she is using during her activities. Due to the success of her pt, we recently transitioned to the small group sessions. My daughter's core has become extremely strong and I see the benefits of these sessions on the court and on the field. Anything that we can do to keep her body healthy and less likely to incur injury, we are all for and DNA is helping her to accomplish that. I highly recommend DNA.
For anyone in the PDX area dealing with body pain and in need of a good, reliable, kind physical therapist, I STRONGLY recommend Andrea Bulat. She’s been helping me for the past year and a half with shoulder, knee, and wrist pain, all of which range from sports injuries, to a history of knee problems from surgery, and even a broken wrist I sustained in December. She is super intelligent, gentle, and firm in her guidance. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you very much, Andrea. I HOPE I don’t have to see you again soon 😉 but if I do, I know I’m in great hands.
Jenelle is the best PT I have ever had the privilege of working with. She is so knowledgeable and just as compassionate.
I feel very fortunate to have worked with Andrea during my recovery from my ACL reconstruction. Being in the rehabilitation field myself I had certain expectations going into the physical therapy process. Andrea met and far exceeded every single one of them. She loves what she does and it shows in her treatment sessions. She gives careful thought and demonstrates attention to detail during her treatments and rehabilitation program designs. Every visit and corrective strategy, whether it be hands-on or exercise-based, was structured with intent and purpose. I would highly recommend Andrea for your injury prevention, rehabilitation and sports performance needs.

Andrea Bulat takes the time to understand root cause and develop a treatment plan that addresses the problem area and strengthens your core to prevent future injuries. One of the best PT’s I have worked with!
